This gives you full control to reuse and standardise templates across multiple environments, helping you work faster and stay consistent.
Previously, copying templates required a manual request. Now, you can copy and transfer templates directly between workspaces in just a few steps.
How does copying templates between workspaces work?
The process uses Template IDs to move templates from one workspace to another.
You can copy a single template or multiple templates at the same time, as long as you have access to both workspaces.
β
Step 1: Access the Template Library
Go to the Template Library in the workspace that contains the templates you want to copy.
Select the template or templates you want to move.
You can select one template or multiple templates at once.
Step 2: Copy the Template ID
Open the three-dot menu (β―) for the selected template or templates.
Select Copy Template ID.
This copies the unique identifier for each selected template.
You can copy Template IDs from one or multiple workspaces, as long as they are open in separate browser tabs.
Step 3: Paste the Template ID into another workspace
Go to the destination workspace where you want the templates to appear.
Open the Template Library and click New Template.
Select Use Template ID, then paste the copied Template ID or IDs into the input field.
Once confirmed, the templates and their associated assets are added to the workspace.
