Introduction

Share Of Model Scoring connects the creative library in Pencil Pro with the Share of Model™ platform.

This integration provides a direct way to assess how well each creative reflects the brand's strategic attributes, based on large language model (LLM) perception.

It brings AI-informed feedback into the production process to guide more effective iterations.

It helps you streamline the creative evaluation workflow by automatically requesting Share of Model (SoM) Asset Evaluation Scores directly from Pencil.

This powerful integration simplifies the scoring process and provides seamless insights without leaving your Pencil workspace.

What is the Value-Add for Clients?

This feature is designed for performance marketers, brand managers, and creative teams who:

  • Have both a workspace in SOM & in Pencil

  • Aim to evaluate brand consistency across creatives

  • Need structured input to inform revisions

  • Want to avoid switching between platforms for insights

Benefits include:

  • On-demand scoring based on LLM perception

  • Evaluation of how brand values (e.g. Innovation, Trust) appear in visual or copy elements

  • Score summaries accessible directly inside Pencil

  • Full analysis stored in SoM, with usage linked to workspace credit quota

It helps you:

  • Validate brand alignment before campaign launch

  • Determine whether key brand cues are missing or overrepresented

  • Prioritize creative versions for testing

  • Support stakeholder feedback with objective, LLM-based evaluations

How Does It Work?

This integration embeds SoM scoring directly into Pencil. When launching a scoring request:

  • The creative is sent to SoM API along with key inputs (brand name, attributes, category, persona, etc.)

  • A Share Of Model Scoring analysis is initiated inside the corresponding SoM workspace

  • The score is returned to Pencil as a summary view and a score per attribute.

  • The full report is available within SoM’s interface for deeper insights. A link is accessible from the view in Pencil.

What are the Requirements?

  • ✅ Available only for mutual clients of Pencil and Share Of Model

  • ✅ An active Share Of Model workspace must exist for the client Pencil

  • ✅ A SoM API token is required (unique to each workspace)
