Your Pencil admin controls what information Pencil's AI ingests. Typically, that covers three types of information.
Brand guidelines. You upload documents with your brand guidelines, so Pencil's output matches your brand voice.
Assets. You upload files directly or connect a digital asset management (DAM) system.
Ad account data. Pencil connects to your ad accounts through a direct OAuth integration. It uses the data to give you ad insights.
How does Pencil use your data?
Pencil doesn't use the information you share to train AI models, with one exception. If you connect ad accounts, Pencil trains a Dedicated Model on that data to predict and score creative performance. That model works only in your workspace.
