When your work holds several formats, you can move an element once and have it move in every format at the same time. It takes three settings. The last one, Move sync, is off by default, so it is easy to miss.
Before you start. Make sure the element exists in every format you want to move it in. When you select it in Multi mode, a dashed blue outline marks the same element in your other formats. That outline tells you the copies are linked.
Switch to Multi. In the Editing bar at the top of the canvas, select Multi. Single keeps every change in the format you are working in.
Choose your formats. Open the formats menu next to it, which reads All Formats by default, and tick every format the move should reach.
Turn on Move sync. Select the element. In the right-hand panel, find Move sync in the Position section and change it from No sync to the option you need.
Move sync options. Each option decides how a move translates between formats, and it covers resizing as well as moving.
Exact pixels moves the element by the same number of pixels in every format. Use it when your formats share the same size.
The [proportional option] scales the move to each format's own dimensions. Use it when you mix sizes, such as a square post and a vertical story.
No sync keeps moves and resizes in the format you are working in, even in Multi mode.
If Move sync is missing. The setting does not appear on every layer. Select a larger layer, such as the background image, and look again. Once you set it, it applies across your whole work.
