What is Scribble?
Scribble is Pencil's AI creative assistant. It produces brand-safe content at scale, with human approval built in.
You tell Scribble what you need in everyday language. It works out which tools to use, shows you what it plans to do, and gets to work once you say yes. While it runs, you can carry on with something else. When it finishes, you review the work and approve it.
Where do I find Scribble?
Scribble sits front and centre on your workspace homepage. Type a request straight into the chat box to start a conversation. You can also open Scribble from the chat page, where all of your conversations live.
Scribble also works wherever you do. It's available in Brief Mode, Workflows, Feeds and Sheets as well as the homepage.
How do I make my first request?
Describe the job in plain language, as you would to a colleague. For example: "resize these masters for the July placements" or "remix this film for social".
Review the plan. Scribble shows you what it intends to do before it starts.
Approve it. Scribble gets to work. You can carry on with something else while it runs.
Review the output. Ask for changes in the same conversation until the work meets your standard.
A good first job is one you've already produced. Re-running a finished brief lets you compare Scribble's output against work you know is good.
How much control do I keep?
Scribble proposes before it acts. It shows you the plan before any step runs, and nothing starts until you approve it. You can redirect it or stop it at any point. You set the creative direction and give final approval on every asset.
What else can Scribble do?
Skills and agents. If your team does a task the same way every time, save it as a skill or an agent that anyone in the workspace can use.
Marketplace. Browse everything available to your workspace in one place, whether Pencil built it or your own team did.
Shared conversations. Publish a conversation so teammates can read it, or pick up a copy of someone else's and continue it yourself.
Memory. When Scribble learns something about how you work, it tells you. You can make it forget, or share the fact with your whole team.
Batch approvals. Approve grouped decisions at once instead of clicking yes at every step.

What happens to my existing work?
Nothing is lost. Your conversations carry over, and Pencil moves any custom agents your team has built into the new setup automatically. Your Workspace Admin reviews the results once to catch anything that moved across wrong.
What does Scribble cost to use?
Scribble uses generations from your existing subscription allowance. The cost of each request depends on the model and the complexity of the job. For details, read: How does Scribble pricing work?
