If you are getting blurry or distorted results when using the image editing tool Smart Erase you may want to try the following:
Ensure you are selecting a large enough area because Smart Erase requires some context around the element you are looking to erase.
Ensure you are trying to erase a relatively small element of the image in front of a reasonably simple background.
